Our cooperative was created in May 2012. We started with 250 farmers, and now we have 1528 farmers.
We started the cooperative because our farmers saw the need. Too many of our farmers were struggling to get paid for the beans, etc and so they requested that we start this. This cooperative has helped our farmers to become well organized and to also sell their products through organized channels. Sylla Amadou started the cooperative.

We have been in partnership with Barry Callebaut (SACO) since 2014. In 2019, they added us to their Cocoa Horizon (CoH) program.

Barry Callebaut has helped improve the quality of our farms, they give us coached who consistently train our farmers on better ways to farm and increase yield, whilst working ethically. Cocoa Horizon comes with many benefits and all our farmers are beneficiaries.
